| Voici une Nova de 1972, qui ne manque pas de style, avec ses roues, et ses bandes décoratives, elle est manuelle avec une banquette. La description : - Citation :
- For the 1972 model year, the Nova received minor cosmetic updates. The Rally Sport option, with its special suspension, returned and was a rather popular choice, with 33,319 sold. 12,309 coupes were outfitted with the SS package, some of which also had the Rally package. Nova production was moved to Norwood, Ohio, where it would be assembled alongside the Camaro. At mid-year, a sunroof option became available on two-door models. Also, the optional Strato bucket seats available on coupes were changed, from the previous low-back design with adjustable headrests, to the high back units with their built-in headrests, which were introduced the previous year on Camaros and Vegas. Despite the lack of change, Nova had its highest sales season in years, with production of the 1972 models reaching 349,733. Of these, 139,769 had the six-cylinder engine, which is what this Nova was originally equipped with (the original dealer purchase agreement from 1972 comes with the car, along with the ProtectoPlate. Under the hood is a potent 350 CID V8 that puts its power to the wheels via a 4-speed manual transmission and 10 bolt rear end. The mighty 350 features coated headers, custom aluminum valve covers, and a 4BBL carb atop its aluminum intake manifold. While there's no dyno sheet, this Nova pulls strong off the line, so our "seat of the pants dyno" leaves us feeling that it's a strong 350. The transmission shifts nicely, and the overall ride is better than it was in 1972, given the advancements in shock absorber technology, and the addition of radial tires. It sits on some nice BFG Radial T/A tires, which look great on the aluminum American Racing mags. The interior appears to maintain its original look, with synthetic leather bench seating front and rear. The carpet is in good condition and looks like it could be original. Additional features and options on this 1972 Nova include Aluminum Alloy Wheels, AM/FM radio, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, Seat Belts, Spare Tire, and Vinyl Interior.
