- The Cutlass Supreme has become a legend in the collector car market, combining handsome good looks with performance and even some luxury features thrown in. Third generation Cutlass' like this one have a multi-generational appeal, especially with the memorable design changes implemented for '71 such as the square twin grilles and the restyled chrome rear bumper that surrounded the taillights. This car has a real sharp Red paintjob with bulging Black rally stripes on the hood and a Black vinyl roof to remind you that this was a luxury muscle car! This Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme roars down the road with a sought-after 455 CID V8 engine and although it is not the original motor, we love that the person who restored this car opted for the big block. It has some performance upgrades too such as an Edelbrock intake, MSD ignition and an aluminum radiator. The Turbo-Hydramatic 3-speed automatic transmission controls shifting stoutly and turns the rear wheels through 3.31 gears. Power steering and power brakes will help you enjoy the power on tap that bit harder. Inside the Cutlass Supreme, it's evident that this is about as close as you'll get to a Cadillac-standard interior on a muscle car. Cushy yet sporty Black vinyl bucket seating, rosewood grain dash trim and wood steering wheel with tilt all add to the experience. The center console is also a desirable addition on this car. Although there is no radio installed, there is Vintage air conditioning and several aftermarket gauges so you can keep an eye on how the 455 is running. A Cutlass Supreme like this one is very desirable and probably won't be around for long; especially at this price. The seller also claims that the vehicle has spent its life in Arizona which could sweeten the deal for someone looking for a nice, "rust-free" collector straight out of the muscle car era.
